With Love and Strength — A Note for International Women’s Day
Every year on International Women’s Day, we see flowers and gifts shared in celebration, and while that’s lovely, we’ve been reflecting on what this day truly means.
More than just another day to say "thank you" or "you’re amazing", it’s a day to honour women’s strength, and the challenges many still face, in workplaces, homes, and society.
We recognise that IWD is about listening, supporting, and standing up for real change. So today, we want to say to all women, those who are fighting battles unseen, breaking barriers, and lifting others up — we see you, and we're with you.
Through our work with flowers, we see them as symbols of resilience. Soft yet strong, growing in unlikely places. May flowers remind us to keep growing, speaking out, and supporting one another. Not just today, but every day.
Wishing all women the strength to keep blooming, in every season.
Here’s a little floral fun fact to end on: did you know that the mimosa is the official flower of IWD? Chosen for its resilience and bright yellow blooms, it symbolises strength, respect, and sensitivity. A reminder that even gentle things can stand tall.
